Radical Japan, an alliance between Craft Bamboo Racing and Radical Motorsport, has been announced. It will see the SR3 XXR racer, as well as other models in the Radical line up, sold, raced and supported in Japan for the first time. We know how awesome Radical race cars are, and nobody needs reminding of the calibre of Japanese circuits - this could be incredible. Amazing it’s taken 30 years really.
Craft Bamboo Racing brings more than a decade of motorsport experience to the alliance, with success across Asia in a variety of competitions. And while the focus of Radical Japan is on events and experiences for local customers, it’s good news for its clients across the globe; Radical is hoping that expansion into Japan can broaden its ‘Race the World’ initiative, opening up those bucket list circuits like Suzuka and Fuji to Radical competitors who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance. As if any further excuse would be needed for a few weeks in Japan…
The new partnership means Radical is now officially represented in more than 20 countries - with 14 Radical Cup championships spanning the globe.
