Ever wanted to see priceless historic racing cars driven by world champions of all manner of disciplines being thrashed around a very fast and very old school circuit? Of course you do. Thank goodness, then, that the legendary Goodwood Revival will be upon us in a matter of weeks – and this year’s running is set to be another belter.
The Revival, which this year will run between 16-18th September, boasts one the biggest gatherings of classic racing machinery on the planet. Not only will you find eye-wateringly expensive Ferrari 250 GTOs and Jaguar D-Types being driven as if they were fresh out the factory, but you can also rub shoulders with motorsport icons, including 2009 F1 World Champion Jenson Button, while drooling over cars in the paddock. hey, why not dress up in period costume to really get into the Revival spirit?
