Anybody watching?

Have to say I'm not quite feeling it like a general election, but I will watch some.

Why does it have to take till tomorrow afternoon to even begin counting AV votes? frown

Possibly 12 out of 13 LD seats quite likely to be lost.

Which I guess will mean votes to Labour. frown

Ye gods the BBC coverage is cringeworthy stuff. I really do despise their approach to reporting sometimes.

Fairly obvious how this one's going to pan out overall, but then it always was. Can't be bothered to watch it on that basis, even the studio guests are awful.

Big time drubbing in my ward for the conservatives

but then again putting up a family member of a well known drug gang as a candidate wasnt the smartest of moves for the conservatives. a real moment of madness choosing him.

his election pledge? i'll help the taxi drivers.

great progress there.

Well it looks like Labour are getting a damn good kicking in Scotland. How long until the SNP get their referendum.

God bless Jabba The Pickles.

Having rumbled the BBC's pinko-spin briefing documents off-stage, he's having a high old time beating up Dimbleby.

Dimbleby isn't happy. Excellent

LD's have taken a right buggering.
Labour should be quite jubilent now, more ways for councils to be weasely with the cuts.

Did LD supporters stay home in disgust, or did Labour mobilise?

It just shows you either how thick the population is or what bad memory people have.

Had to turn the BBC off this morning, the blatant pro-Labour stance is sickening.

They're not pushing for one because the SNP know most Scottish people don't actually want it.

I said the same to my fiancee this morning. Anyone think the ConDems can win another general election? I don't.

I really struggle to see how people can even think about voting Labour back in. But then again, I like to think I have a little bit of common sense. smile

"Scotland is a society and a nation. No one cares more about Scotland's success than the people who live here and that, ultimately, is why independence is the best choice for our future.

Independence is about making Scotland more successful. At its most basic, it is the ability to take our own decisions, in the same way as other countries".

I could weep this morning i really could, in my p**s hole of a town called Oldham Labour have swept in which isn't surprising really.

Lad at work has admitted he voted Labour last night and as a result has had a right load of st thrown at him,

When asked why he voted all he could come up with is 'Labour help the little guy' when asked as to how they help the little guy all he could come up with is 'They help the little guy and the Lib Dems and Tories dont'

When pressed further he said 'Well me Dad told me to vote Labour' FFS i wouldn't mind if he was 18 but he is 24.

People really are stupid.

If this is the yoof of today the country really is completely screwed.

At what point will the northern 'must vote Labour' electorate change their minds. Currently we have people who grew up hating Thatcher and the Tories dictating to their only recently-allowed-to-vote offspring that they vote Labour. The older generation of pit miners etc will be dying out soon.

Times must change...

Can't we just let Scotland have its independence and move the border further south to say Watford?

See how they get on then!

Not to mention that the moment the SNP get a referendum, and maybe independence, they lose the thing that gives them a platform.
