Has anyone ever used Mintex brake pads for their Tuscan?

Apparently you can use these for a standard Tuscan:
For road use 1144 and 1155 for track use, fronts are part number mdb1292 and rear mdb1287

They look to be £130 for front and rear on this site:

Anyone know what the correct pads are for the Tuscan S? I searched the threads and apparently the S, and the RR are different from the standard Tusc.

Tuscan RR uses Cerb 4.5 brakes... so I guess the pads would be the same as for that. (And possibly likewise for the S)

All a guess, mind...

I've used those mintexs on my 300zx. They are pretty good, but I prefered ebc greenstuff. They faded a bit less quickly and (more importantly if I'm honest) they shed FAR FAR less brake dust than mintex. Certainly the standard tvr pads seem total shit as far as brake dust goes... 20 miles down the round and the alloys are covered in the stuff!

Didn't think greenstuff pads were recommended for newer Tivs?

I'm told fiesta pads fit the rear on old tuscs-choose your boy racer supplier- but the front is AP. AP are f good so why bother change?

james, is that right ? why is that ? What about RR ? Doesn't need em anyway, but am mighty tempted to replace fronts for the amount of brake dust....

Just popping out for a beer or two now Sure I read a load of threads on here about it last year. Will see if I can fish 'em out later on...

Sorry, being kept more than a bit busy with stuff at work at the moment (and as the Tuscan's been in the garage for two weeks now, I've kind of forgotten I own a TVR!)

Anywhere, here was the last thread I remember the conversation on: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=93452&f=6&h=0&hw=green+stuff
