Its only my opinion but i,m not going because i don't agree how the weekend has been set up . It feels very elitist to me . Its up to the organisers who put the time and effort in to design it as best they can but its not for me this time , good luck to them and i hope all that go have a great time .

I know the organisers of this and as a TVRCC RO also know how much effort has gone into TAG11. Putting on a show of this size is VERY expensive and as such they have tiered tickets to allow for all pockets rather than follow the Olympic "price everyone but the rich out" philosophy. The pricing and ticketting was carefully thought through and a lot of opinions sought before they came up with the system they have put in place. There certainly is no intention for it to be eliteist in any way shape or form but to allow people to decide how much of the weekend they want to partake in and then pay appropriately.
I am sure it will be a great weekend and you are of course entitled to your opinion, I just wanted to put the organisers side of the story (from a third party on the sidelines perspective). Also I am rather annoyed that I can't go but due to a very very busy May and June calandar it just isn't possible.

Hi Mark , I tried to word my post to not be a direct criticism of the organisers , as you probably know i have been involved in a small way with organising events in the past so i am not an armchair critic .
I have had this discussion with a couple of other owners and i am probably on my own in my view but i still feel its not very inclusive . I also understand the club must need to get as many advance bookings as possible to secure the funding for the day/weekend ,but when i asked on the club forum about turning up on the day the reply was book or don't come ( more politely put than that though ). Included in the reply was a request for volunteers to stand on the gate and collect day entry fees , i would have done this had the event been a bit closer as if the club follow through with no turning up on the day they again exclude owners not able to make a decision until the last minute, and anybody who is fickle enough not to take their car out in the wet
The club had to cancel an event a few years ago because the main sponsor pulled out so pre booking is probably their only option , but bronze ticket holders stand behind that fence and watch the gold members having fun still doesn't sit right with me .That may not be how it pans out , its probably me misunderstanding how the weekend will work .
As i said before i hope all who go have a cracking day and i look forward to reading the reports and looking at the pics .

If it's sold out except for Bronze - whats the problem. You should have been quicker or prepared to spend the money.
Everything today has a value and we each can make a decision to purchase or not to match our situation/circumstances. How much would it be to go the the theatre in London or to go to the opera (SWMBO went last year and it cost HOW MUCH).
