I'd say deliberate too the tt

still he would have probably done it to a linesman and ref if he thought he could get away with it so it is a kind of equality smile

I have watched it about 6 times and initally it looked deliberate but as you can see the ball appears to go back onto the pitch and it looks like he is trying to run towards it and she gets in the way.

Prat for not even helping her up - whether she was a man or a woman!

Ouch. Glad she's alright and as for "woman at the centre of the sexism storm" what a load of p1sh!

Given they were about 10 yards from the touchline and the ball went really quick, his chances of reaching it were less than zero.

+1

Does look deliberate, but the more you watch it (and note the ball direction), I'll let him off... Should have apologised though.

Officials get hit all the time, deliberate or not. She presumably isn't complaining, so why is anyone else?

Football sinks to new lows.

She didn't move a muscle, he'd have known exactly where she was.

yes

He dips a shoulder and adjusts direction of travel in her direction rather than trying to go the other way.

Referring to the angle ftom The Sun's clip.

Just watched the footage and the impact several times, I can't see how it was accidental, he almost appears to change direction so he can run into her. Whether it happened to a male or female linesman I'd say it looked deliberate.

Unless he got himself completely disorientated and turned the wrong way but even then he seems to almost go for a rugby tackle manoeuvre.

Looks deliberate to me too. My guess is its a changing room bet, which has been won. Defence would probably be "if I'd have helped her up, I'd have been accused of being sexist".

Looks like the grey haired chap did it on purpose, surprised that she fell over considering what a weedy thing he was laugh

That was deliberate. What an ahole. It serves to remind me why i don't watch aholes chasing balls about, and I'll stick to the man's sport of motor racing.

I think it was accidental.

He didn't know where the ball was or how quick it was travelling. All he knew was he had got to the ball and the general direction it went - which he tried to follow.
