Was the news...

However...

BBC1 Royal Wedding

ITV Royal Wedding

BBC News Royal Wedding

Sky News Royal

Why the fk must they all cover the feckin Royal Wedding?

Surely one channel of coverage is enough?

And if I were interested in watching it, I certainly wouldn't watch it on ITV because of adverts...

What else did you expect?
Dave will be running repeats of Top Gear The gadget Show as usual (will they be running the Royal Wedding in 18 months?)

When there's a potential audience of 2 billion people, it'd be a bit silly for a TV company to ignore it.

This IS the news, there's not much else going on today. And since you're obviously online to post this, why not, you know, like visit a news website where you can actually pick and choose what news you want to see?

And I want to listen to yesterday's Radcliffe and Maconie show on 6 Records - but I cant get it cos too many people are on the BBC website. Presumably cos of the flippin' Royal wodding.

I might go any tidy the loft.

This will be the biggest news story world wide today, hence the rather large viewing figures.

To those above who stated that this is news.

Yes, I'm sure it is - but do the news channels really need to provide the same coverage as BBC1 and ITV?

We now effectively have four channels covering this.

What's the point? (well in the case of BBC of course - Sky can use it for advertising revenue).

It's just bks.

At 2.10pm on BBC1 you can "look back" at the wedding.

Then on the One Show at 7pm you can .... "look back" at the wedding.

Then at 8.30pm you can see the "highlights" of the wedding. wink

Anyway, how come David Walliams is marrying Kate Winslet? I thought they were both already married?

To the OP.

get over yourself, you Knob!

A worldwide audience of 2 billion tends to make this news on a global scale, sorry if that upsets your little bubble.
