Sony dsc t1

I am looking at buying a Sony DSC T1 and I was wondering if anyone could offer any opinion on whether it was a good buy or not?.

I want the sort of camera that I can pretty much carry anywhere and use anytime so I thought that it would be perfect for that.

Also, anyone got any alternatives to look at, same size and performance etc.
