Clutch Flexi Length

Hi all - Can someone advise on the length required for a clutch flexi pipe or even post a pick of how one looks in situ. I know the ends will need to be different as I have a landy slave at the far end. TIA I am getting a quote but will enquire if there is a discount for multi buy just in case anyone else wants one.

Mine was 105cm long when made, but that was just long enough.

There is a landy part (RTC4425) which is a ~12" long flexi clutch pipe with 7/16" UNF male ends which fits the clutch slave cylinder. You would just need to buy or find a female union and some 1/4" pipe to go up to the master. Oh and a bracket of some description to fix to the chassis.

I looked into this but as I already had everything for a solid 3/16" pipe I did that instead.

At work at the moment so can't give you dimensions, but I had a clutch flexi hose made by Neil at TVR car parts a couple of weeks ago having sent my original as a pattern. The master end has a banjo fitting which avoids the bulkhead nicely, and it has a male / male adapter at the lower end. The overall fit is absolutely spot on. I'm pretty sure that Neil kept dimensions etc so that he can offer the part more widely, and no doubt it could be supplied with an adapter appropriate to the LR slave's thread.... could be worth a call.

Thanks guys roughly (crudely) measured my solid pipe across tea time and it came to about 36" but it wasn't that accurate sounds like I need to get the car out tomoro and do it properly if Deadspiders was 105cm. Any chance of some pics to see what it looks like.

Made mine from a High pressure flexi pipe used on air conditioners. Sure it is 900mm long(longest available in catalogue) but having an angled end saves a bit of length, a metre sounds about right if ends are straight.

I measured mine at 900mm and cut a new pipe at 1000mm to be safe

Thanks for your help guys. Following PompetTims advice I have spoken to Neil at TVR car parts they can make one up but price seems a bit expensive for what it is but I may consider this option if local hydraulic specialist can't make something up for me any cheaper. Will let you know how I get on if they come back with a more competitive price.
