I was nicked for going through a no-entry sign, and given a fixed penalty, 3 points £40 fine. I didn't show documents / pay fine. I couldn't do this, as I had a mega speeding case appearing in court, and dare not have a recent offence on my licence. It payed off, as I got 5 points for 78 in a 40 for the speeding, but I'm now in court for the no-entry sign, and not producing. I'm not appearing in court, but have sent documents etc. Anyone know what the chances are, of the court sticking to the 3 points???, the size of fine isn't an issue.. megaflyer

I don't know where you live but in the area I work the usual is to stick with the 3 points and fixed penalty fine but add costs usually £25, most of the time the fail to produce gets dropped
