As I type, Bewitched (film, remake) in on telly. Now I rather like Ms Kidman, but there's just been some old Bewitched footage in the film, and I'd forgotten how stunning Elizabeth Montgomery was.

(swoon) I need to trawl YouTube for some old episodes.

Indeed a beautiful lady. Loved Bewitched as a lad/teenager and now look back with fond memories smile

She and Bewitched were great to watch in the '60's as a youngster. Hard to believe she passed away in '95.

I think she was the first woman I was in love with - as a 7 or 8 year old! Hard to think that she was born before my mother. I was one of the few kids in my junior school who went home to watch this, loved it for years.

When I see an episode now - tried to get my boys interested but it's too 'gentle'! - it brings back such a rush of nostalgia and seems so recent, I can even remember many of the story lines and events 35+ years later. The tv we grew up on can still have such an emotional hold can't it.

I was an "I Dream of Genie" man myself i.e. Barbra Eden.

Although I think I was more impressed with the fact that the hero of the show (Larry Hagman) was an astronaut.

I have a DVD of that but it's spelt slightly differently. 'I Dream of Jenna' although most of their clothes fall off at various points. Shouldn't have been in the Family section, that's for sure.
Samantha was a looker. Had a thing for Yvonne DeCarlo In The Munsters (Lilly) as well.

smile It's a boy thing isn't it? The woman in teh TV show makes you feel a certain way (that you don't quite understand) and there's a bloke with a dream job.

I used to be addicted to the New Avengers for the same reason: Purdey for the former, and Steed's job+XJ12C for the latter. biggrin

Hmmm - need to look up pictures of that Munsters lass... rings a distant bell...

Ms Montgomery was a natural beauty though. Kind of like the first teacher you fancied as a young lad. Or your best mates mum. (for example!)
