Took Friday off to take the missus into London to visit a couple of museums (V&A and Natural History). Didn't mind as it also meant I could go and see the Alfa Romeo exhibition at the Science museum. Nearly didn't see it as all the posters stated that it finished at the end of April, but it seems it's been extended until the end of May.

If you're in London, go and see it (it's free). It was worth it for the Nuvola concept car alone! And the keys were still in it!! Good job it was on the second floor or I might have attempted a get-away, Italian Job stylie.

Why oh why oh why didn't they put that gorgeous car into production?

I'm off to an interesting exhibition tonight in Shoreditch. Lot's of semi disected dead bodies in poses. A kind of crossover between art and science.

Hmm, saw this on a news report a few weeks back.

It borders on the distasteful and grotesque! Still, the people who's bodies are on display donated them to the exhibition, so I guess it's a case of each to their own.

Prefer to gawp at cars, myself.

My parents came down to London to see this in particular and wisely I went along aswell. It is a great exhibition. I ended up in deep discussions with a stranger on the intrecassies (sp?) of the inlet manifold and carburation of the engines on display.

As for the Nuvola, interesting to note the striking similarity of the lines of the Nuvola's side to that of the Tuscan. Very similar. It is a gorgeous car and have to agree .... why don't they ever make them !!!

Cheers

Johno - I mentioned the similarities with the Tuscan to my wife. Even the headlights are similar.

The Nuvola just edges ahead in the beauty stakes (IMO)

I've not seen the Nuvola, but I used to have an Alfa 33.

I expect it looks a bit like that....

It also has four wheels and a windscreen aswell. The similarity will be striking when you do see one !

I have to agree that the Nuvola is better looking than the Tuscan IMHO. Superb lines.....why oh why oh why oh why didn't they make it !!!

I noticed that the Nuvola was very similar to the new Tuscan when I bought a model of the car. I agree that the Nuvola is much better looking. It's a shame that the Disco Volante was stuck downstairs and not properly displayed along with the rest of the exhibition as it's a stunning car.
