Just measured mine: its 1980mm between the outer edges of the mirrors. As I said in my reply to your early post, mine is a car with the later rounded mirrors. The earlier mirrors are probably similar in dimensions.

Hope this helps

The car will fit in a normal width garage but the doors are very big especially when open wide enough to enter or exit the car.

Thats a good point. Its pretty much essential to put some carpet on the wall to protect the door as you get out.

oh no! frown

To be honest even with the folding mirrors, thats going to be tight. My garage is pretty tight, and I use the mirrors to get the gaps just right.

One thought: I've got an up and over garage door at the moment with a timber frame round it. I'm just about to have a roller shutter door fitted and this will be behind the brick: the wood at the side will be removed making the gap wider. I know its more expense but maybe an option for you?
