Hi folks

Can anyone recommend a place to buy trackday sumps, or does anyone have a spare they are willing to sell?

I have a standard 2.5 is fitting a doddle or a garage job (if so how many hours do you think)?

thanks ian

Do you have any contact details for this? That sounds bearable.

To answer the question, is fitting a doddle... well, not really. To fit with the engine in the car means cutting a chassis member. Noble provide a kit for this but it's not as easy as unbolting the old one and bolting on a new one. Only other way is to lift the engine which will mean a lot more dosh in labour.

I know it was a long time ago, but the factory was doing a special offer and did mine for 900.

Maybe if there are a few of you they might entertain it again?

I booked mine in for that offer. Got up at the crack of dawn to get to the factory for 8:30. Got it on the ramps only to be told I already had one - what a numpty biggrin

They did fix an oil leak and a couple of other issues so it wasn;t a totally wasted day.

I don't think that's too bad really, I was quoted £1200 just for the sump about 18 months ago. Changing the sump is quite labour intensive even if you cut the chassis.

Well it's too rich for my tastes and a lot lot more than the price quoted earlier. It would be nice to find out how he got it.

Price looks ok to me , gasket is a bit on the steep side but everything else looks fine . A genuine Noble Track day sump now cost over 1k with the vat and pickup pipe !!!!!!! That's just the sump !!!

I'll try to dig out the email, it was from Noble motorsport but I had mine fitted at Jetstream in the end during a minor rebuild, give them a call.
