I´m going to the factory tomorrow to get my car back. The last time I saw it was December 28th last year so, as you can imagine, I´m quite excited.

If you are on the roads between Blackpool and Leeds look out for someone driving a Cosmos Blue Tuscan with the biggest smile you´ve ever seen (me not the car).

I went snowboarding for the season but the person who was looking after (or should that be taking care of in a Sopranos style?) my car managed to crash it in February. I have just picked it up from having 6.6k of repairs today and I am over the bloody moon.

Ray at TVR has been great. The repair work looks perfect, and they have sorted a few things like the pod display FOC. It´s taken a while but definitely worth using the factory.

By the way Al, we´re doing the run down to Spain in August. I may be in touch for advice if ok.

Somehow I knew I would see you today. Your car is looking fantastic, it must be so good to have it back.

Are you going to join us for the 'Bucket 'n' Spade' run on Sunday?

Edit: - changed 'it' to 'is', thankfully I'm no longer speaking Patois!

I just had to come back the cross country route rather than the motorway. It was great to be driving it again.

Unfortunately I´ve arranged to go watch the hill climbing at Harewood with my dad on Sunday. I will make a meet one of these days.

If you have a look on Sleepy-fish.com there are some pics of it. The reg is W498 RTV. There are also some on the previous owner´s website at www.mytuscan.co.uk

It´s the same colour as Andy, aka Sixspeed´s.

Terrible spelling edited, a bit too much earlier!

Hope you can get to a meet soon, it would be great to put a face to the car - so to speak!

Right, back to the , first time I've been in charge of a laptop!

Great news Basil - i'm sure that you are really pleased to have her back!

Is the bucket and spade run to Whitby? Where can I find details, do you need to book, and are cars left in a Scrote free zone? I've been to Whitby before and it can be difficult to park, especially when the sun is shining!

Thanks Jo

Got to make a decision now then: Holker Hall with West Lancs or Bucket and Spade with Yorks crowd. Can't do both! Thanks for pointing me to the thread - not been on here so much lately.

Having done a few miles I am very impressed with the handling on the 40 series Goodyear F1s. The car seems much more planted than it did on the S02s, although I have no experience of the Toyos. They do seem a lot louder though, tyre roar wise.
