Go faster stripes ?!

There are blue 'V8S' decals on either flank of my recently acquired car. However I've seen a similar (silver) car with additional blue pinstripes running the length of the car. Is there a 'correct' format for this, and if so, has anyone got the name of a supplier of these items ?. Thanks for any help with this.

These are not words normally associated with TVR - consitency, what is that?
