PS3 Help

Okay just cranked the ps3 up and it tells me "The Hard disk's database will be rebuilt" any advice? it wants me to press X to continue.

Edited to Add, back up your PS3's people, as often as possible, think I may have just got lucky as I had plugged in and backed up the PS3 earlier to the external hard drive, without I would have been back to square one.

I know it's a bit late for you now, but I rebuild the database on my every few months. I believe it achieves a similar result to defraging the disk on a PC.
