Mamba's ?? Each to their own........

It's fairly easy to go from 12" to 10" discs, but as ever the problem is the cost. About the only bits you can keep from your 12" setup are the hub uprights and the disc dust sheilds, everything else is different; the disc, drive flange, caliper, hoses, and pads.

There are kits available containing all these parts, MiniSpares do one for about £250-£290.

I would go for 4 pot calipers and turn the disc down to 7.9", the braking is better than S calipers for a similar cost.

The best pads I've ever found are the carbon-Metallic ones Mini spares do for the 'S'. They are absolutely fantastic, and I've tried lots of different pads over the years.

Before you go to that expense, make sure that the Mamba's will clear the 7.5" setup as I have heard that they can be a problem.

hmm. im shocked for the price on 7.5" setup. and the second hand are hard to find.

is it really worth money & time to go 2" difference on the car handling?
