No laughing at the back!

What do you guys recommend/use for a road bike? I do about 200 miles a month at the moment, but looking to up that now the weather is improving. I've been using a teflon based spray, which has now run out and am thinking there much be something out there that doesn't attract every bit of crap off the roads to my chainset!

You could use a wax based "dry" lube but the application and cleaning process probably outweighs the benefits.

Just get something like fennicks all conditions and a park chain cleaner & some brushes with some muck-off degreaser, give the chain, cassette and derailers a 10min clean once a week and apply a bit of lube every other day, run the chain through a rag to get the excess off.

Doing this is part and parcel of getting the best out of your bike, like checking the tire PSI, just accept it rather than try and get round it, or be prepared to accept marginally less performance and marginally more wear on your bike.
