Alternator bracket

Had a little play around over the weekend to modify the alternator bracket to stop the top hose rubbing. Of the two 8mm front mounting bolts I filed the top hole into a slot, this allows the bracket to swing out a little but then it touches the exhaust so the long bit of the bracket that goes back to a single 10mm bolt had to be adapted and finally the hole for that bolt cut into a slot (will weld up properly when I have more time).
Top hose now clears by 3 or 4mm so no chance of rubbing through.
Of course it may just be my particular brand of silicone hoses causing this problem
