Could have been a Manchester United player? But then the ban would have only been 12 days!

Simple, you couldn't pull a woman if your life depended on it. Have a pleasant Easter, anyway.

Speed 12 = Doesn't exist as a road car yet. 180mph = Well below top speed 150mph = fast enough to not get clocked by a gatso

I thought over 155MPH was the magic no detection speed, which was why most "mainstream" manufactures limit their fastest cars to 155mph. Could be a load of cobblers.... I really should do some work today

The 155 limit was just an arbitary figure as far as I understand. Surely it's academic, if they capture you with the first photo, I hardly think they'll let you off just because you're not in the second photo. Surely the fact that you're not there would be good enough!

I thought they HAVE to take 2 photo's to prove your speed using the calibration lines on the road. So, no second photo, no proof beyond reasonable doubt (hey, the camera could have malfunctioned occifer). But then, I'm not convinced enough to actually try this out.

Upper limit of Gatso has to do with Radar callibration??? Accuracy etc... was originally intended to catch people jumping red lights (by inventor, Mr. Gatsonide), modified since... 155mph = 250 kph = German gesture towards Green movement with Autobahns...

surely then you could just argue that the second shot didn't get you because you REVERSED out of the (bottom of the) picture (at >160mph) - sounds entirely plausible to me

I think you could blame the lack of car in the second shot on methane gas. It bubbles up through badly maintained tarmac and renders it temporarily unable to support the weight of a car, which then mysteriously dissappears. Evidence of this phenomena being on the increase abounds, with most local authorities very decently putting up signs so other motorists can avoid the resultant unsightly burial mound.
