I really don't think politicians understand - certainly not cabinet or shadow cabinet members, or those carrer politicians who work in the associated smoke and bullst parasitic-politic organisations. The public is sick of their excess and arrogance.

For what it's worth it can't hurt to contact your MP to ask them to justify this.

BTW Can anyone actually find the relevant paragraph in the bill? I don't see any mention of MPs in 554E(8).
