Oh joy, wonder if there will be any 'celebrities' anybody has heard of?

"We aim to bring Channel 5's energy, optimism and vibrancy to the series."

They are going to fill it full of the same Americans again and again and again?

Just when you thought it was safe to turn the TV on again hehe . It very probably won't have Daveenah, not sure about Marcus Bentley the Geordie announcer bloke though.

Prediction: No Davina and somehow C5 mess it up so that 'the fans' don't think its the same anymore, and after a few weeks nobody watches and it dies on its arse. (This may be a hope rather than a prediction).

Can't say I'm fussed, I can't even remember the last time I watched anything on C5 (have I ever watched anything on C5?).

Oh gawd no!

It was on the front page of the mirror or star this time last week (spotted it in the supermarket) and I assumed it was a very bad April Fool.

I think a lot of us would dearly love to use the remote to remove it forever from our screens but SWMBO loves it weeping my only hope is they stick in some brassy media we tart (there's always one) in I can pretend to oggle over and it might fall out of favour.

Without the coke and hookers / porn stars I'm not sure how hilarious it would be. Sure, he might be entertaining when he's got a load of gak up his nose but it'd probably be more like "Charlie Sheen Does Detox"

Hmm true, might be funny seeing him go cold turkey, or trying to shag anything in the house

I've asked the chaps in our clapham office to ask Brian if he's got the gig as he lives above the office. I'll let you know.
