Only been riding intermittently for a couple of years, and mostly at weekends so I haven't had to worry about traffic too much.

Had to take the new Hornet out on the crowded A14 today. All the road tests said it's great at carving up the traffic, but I didn't realise how easy it is without my head around my knees.

Come up behind car in a trance. Are you moving into that gap in the nearside lane? 1,2,3, you're not, oh well up the inside again.

Woohoo

Tony,

Be careful mate with the old undertaking trick - the feds take a very dim view of that sort of thing! Tried to do me for dangerous driving (as well as a 'do-or-die' undetake using a gravel-rich hard shoulder.....) about 5 yrs ago.

Take care out there kids...

PS a mate pulled an indicated 175mph up the M11 last night in the dark, so check your mirrors...

This wasn't hooning, it was just making good progress. I appreciate the advice, but DD is a bugger to make stick. Every change was executed with a "lifesaver", it was all cribbed from roadcraft

Besides, the chances of getting caught are slim, from what I hear there are only three BiB left covering the whole of the UK. Captain Gatso isn't very good at this sort of "crime" particularly when he's a Truvelo

Gert yourself a Black Ratty sticker for the bike, that should be worth a let off or three
