Engine Numbers

Hi All,

Not been on for a while, getting around to rebuilding the S Series 3.9 V8 so, I have at least two numbers on my block one is 47A40P162G and another 47A00522A and a spurious one CR9 351 I want to make sure I order the correct parts?
All stamped on the block lip.

Anyone any idea's??

CR is compression ratio 9.35:1

Mine also has 2 engine numbers like that

Factory 3.9 Litre Engines
47A00001	Morgan +8	9.35:1 CR EFI

I think 47A00522A is the number rover gave it when they built it and 47A40P162G the one TVR gave it after they took it apart and fiddled with it. CR9 351 would be a Compression Ratio of 9.35:1 and would be from before TVR got hold of it (I believe a 400 is supposed to be 9.8:1)

Didn't pick up on the CR as it's stamped in a strange manner! CR a long way from 93 and 51??
So today 'I shall mostley be parts shopping!'
