Given the shockingly poor snow conditions this winter i.e. the lack of it, as I'm sure the skiers will agree, the early spring and continued good weather, am I being too optimistic in hoping that the passes will open earlier than last year?

Brünig Pass and Jaunpass are open, and definitely worth doing if you haven't already.

Absolutely agree, one of my 'most favourite' places! Stunning location!

Take the little train to the lake after lunch, or take a walk up (and behind) the waterfall.
