This is the culprit that started it of,

If someone posts from flickr and gives the link at the bottom, you can click the link, then click the camera name on the right hand side and it gives you all the EXIF data.
In this case:
Camera Canon EOS 450D
Exposure 32
Aperture f/16.0
Focal Length 12 mm
ISO Speed 100

The guys are shooting them themselves. It's caused by leaving the camera's shutter open for an extended period and blocking the light to the camera (by standing in the way) for most but not all of the time the camera's running.
