200sx s13 starting problems - please help!

Hi all,
just bought a 1993 nissan 200sx s13 1.8 turbo off a friend. i knew it wasnt running when i bought it so collected it today and put it in my garage. i put the battery on charge and changed all the spark plugs before attempting to start it. After that i started it and it turns over lovely but theres no spark on the plugs. Fuel pumps working fine so its just an ignition problem. Dunno if its got a built in immobiliser or anything so was just looking for some guidance incase anyone else has had the same problem? any help is much appreciated. cheers jez
