advice on cleaning roof please?

Ladies and gents good evening
In the last month or so Iv'e just purchased a lovely crystal topaz 450 chim with full olive green leather and wood dash. It also has a green roof which has some white marks on it. Being new to tvr's was wondering what to get the marks off with, without discolouring the roof ? Any suggestions would be gladly accepted thanks

I just give mine a good soap down with my cleaning water (Mer car shampoo with a couple of caps of Mer polish in), give it a rub with the sponge and all's good.

It's worked for the last 10 years and my hood looks great.

I have just noticed you are new to the forum (I'm quick like that!) and I should have welcomed you and congratulated you on your purchase of a very fine car .

Re. the Autoglym, it obviously depends what the white marks are as to its ability to remove them. It really lifts out ingrained dirt incredibly well (follow the instructions well), which has the effect of pretty much restoring the original colour as best it can, unless it is too sun-bleached or faded.
