Right The missus is ill. To be a decent husband, I made chicken on a bed of leeks for us both. Jamie dickface oliver lied. 35 mins at 220 deg doesn't cook chicken. I realised when I was near finished - my wife pointed out the chicken was pink. I looked past the pancetta, and it was raw as. bugger.

We now both feel a tad spew-ish, but can't work out if it's like a bad placebo. If I have killed us all, whats a good remedy? I'm guessing quilted bog roll is a good start, and mouthwash. Does PH have any more advice?

Oh you can say that because you aren't the one who ate it. The guy is obviously going to die a horrible death.

Chicken sashimi is not so uncommon in Japan - and it doesn't seem to kill many people.

I wouldn't worry too much unless you had the chicken sitting around on the kitchen worktop for the last week before you put it in the oven.

Probably. If we do die of terrible arse-death, it's not like I can stop you. Keys to the Porsche are in the wife's handbag.

I'd be tempted to make myself throw up depending on how long ago you ate it, where it was from and how 'raw' it was
