MTB grips...

Current ones are knackered. ODI Ruffians seem to get a good write up, but a few peeps mention their quite 'skinny' and as I have huge hands (it's true what they say), I'd prefer a more bulky grip. Suggestions anyone?

Lizard Skins Peaty are great, had them on mine for a few months and prefer them to my old Odi Ruffians (they were good too though...).

The other half has Odi Xtremes and he likes them, haven't tried the bike with them myself so can't comment!

But the Peaty grips are decent value, look good and great grip. I have them in a lovely slate grey colour with red bar end cap bits, but they are in black or white too. £20 from Evans when I got mine. I'd buy the same again!

Just moved from ODI to superstar because I am a bit and ODI are just to expensive for what they are now adays.

The Lizard Peaty's are good too.

Funnily enough I've just brought some sunline lock on thick grips, 12.99 from CRC (via paypal), they are thicker for more comfort/bigger hands, plenty of good reviews although some mention the locking mechanism is a bit cheap compared to ODI, i thought they were worth the try.

Have some Tioga Mushy grips mmm lovely...take me back everytime i ride to my old BMX days and the original ODI Mushrooms then again i am easily pleased

Another thumbs up for these, broken wrist a while ago always meant cycle rides over an hour resulted in pain for following days.
Nothing after a weekend of off road riding for good 4 hours.

I chose the Bio cork ones just so they look better with the bike colouring didn't notice any extra springyness from the cork itself but they give you the full eco warrior literature to make you feel all planet saving and heroic.
