Booked in here for a meal in a couple of weeks time.Apart from the obvious attraction of the place is the food and atmosphere actually any good?

Food is average and too expensive for what it is. The wine is over-priced (from memory the cheapest plonk was £30ish). Moet was about £100......!

As a place to go, depending on the crowd, it's relatively amusing. But don't go there if you are just looking for fine dining and good service.
