Good light in the Highlands

Fab weather means I've been out for the past few days blatting and taking pics.
Stopped off to take a few pics of the porker up here... between taking ALL the local kids out for trips round the village. Now why do I think I'd get arrested for doing that down south?
Squashed to hell for a fast download.

Someting that I have been meaning to ask is what camera and setup do you use? I have just started out taking photos and have bought a nice wee Fuji S5000, hopefully to be mainly used at rallys but I am enjoying messing around with it at the moment. Getting away for some time on my own, a few photos and taking in the scenery is the reason for my potential trip up North.
If I am up I'll definitly give you a shout. I have just updated my profile to put on my wee beast not quite up to the 911 turbo though.

S5000 is apparently a great camera (I've read) and I love the shallow depth of field pic of your motor (you should see what I was driving when I was at Uni).
I'm currently using a Nikon D1X with a std, wide and tele lens.
I crop most of the pics in photoshop - may add a bit of contrast. But the real trick is to erase 99% of them
Carpet Bomb Carter they call me.

The Nikon looks like a serious piece of kit from the reviews I've read and certainly seems to produce the goods! For me the S5000 seems amazing, but anything would after stepping up from solely point and shoots before and so it is a slow learning curve at the moment. I've been told the key to being a good photographer is not to let anyone see the 'other' photos so I've been pretty harsh when deciding which ones to keep and which ones to discard (and yes I do have more than 5 left ), but I'm just wanting to have a little fun with it at the moment. I havent gone into the photoshop side of things as yet but it can certainly make a difference.
The Corsa has done me proud for almost 3 years now (come August) and I even passed my test in it so there is quite an attachment there now as well.
Sorry for dragging this off topic... back on we go...
