Lens reflection or fault in film ?
I was at my Mums a few weeks ago looking through the old pics and came accross these. Not seen them for 30 years.
I took them in 1977 when I was 9. My Dad gave me an old Pentax SLR and I was outside having a go at some Star pictures. Badly lol !
I saw a very bright Satellite which I managed to get on film. I've circled it on the pics.
After taking them I went straight inside to Process the Film and Print the Pics.
I actually remember the image appearing on the Photographic paper and thinking what's that ?
The are in a sequence 1,2 and 3.

No idea what the White bits are. Pics were taken in the middle of a field and it was pitch black.
Their was no light other than the stars and the satellite which is the Mark.
I certaintly did not see the White stuff above the Mark when taking the photo.
Could it be a faulty film ? Strange though how the image is slightly different on each frame.

I'm pretty sure the circled white spot on the first frame is the Sat. It could be just a mark on the 2nd and third frame. It is a bit squashed or that could be due to camera shake.
I wonder if I was using my Dads Canon. It had a motor drive which would perhaps account for the 3 frames taken close together.
It was a very long time ago..... Also cant remember what lens I would have used. If it was the Pentax I had a standard lens and a 400mm. If it was the Canon it could have been a number of lenses.

LOL Could well be !! Cut a 9 year old some slack though. I did develop amd print them myself. Not bad for a kid.
Pah, when I was 9 I was romping away with my Cub Scout Photography badge...It was my first photography qualification and I've just realised it was also my last
Talking of childhood memories, we went to a wildlife park one day and I got some great photos of the animals. At least I think I did - my dad had loaded the film for me and it hadn't engaged on the sprockets...
Back in his day he made tints with ferricyanide solutions; I wonder what he'd have made of digital?

You're right - wrought iron railings!I thought I was seeing things at first until someone else said it.
Definitely shots of a house through gates.
