Wohoooo!!!!

Group C cars. You can’t beat them. Best sports cars ever to hit the track IMHO. I’m sure I read somewhere that the 1992 Peugeot 906 group C car is still 1.5 secs a lap quicker than the fastest FIA GT cars today?

Charlie Agg is a long time historic Can-Am racer, seen him throw a McLaren around Donington.

But Ralf Kelleners!!!!!!!!!! That's a bit of a coup isn't it? If you're going to put money on someone winning it'd be him.

Groomi, Unfortunately all of the Jaguars and one of the Nissans were not running. I missed the Saturday race and I think a few of them dropped out of the Sunday event. To be honest the racing itself wasn’t that good because there were only 10 runners that got very spread out quite quickly but it was worth it to go wandering round the cars in the paddock afterwards. Here are some of the better photos I took. Excuse the dodgy camera skills:

Spa is a fabulous circuit as well. First time there, I walked around the whole track. This was taken from Coombes. You can see the track leading up to the bus stop chicane and the Paddock in the hills in the background.

Looks fantastic.

I had a similar experience at donnington a couple of years back where there were about 10 group C runners. Just the sight and sound of them going round was amazing!

Hopefully somebody can get some publicity into the series and get some more cars together for some worthwhile racing.... Certainly is worth it!

Nice pics BTW.

Didn't look like it did, I followed the link on the first post here for the results.

My prediction came true for Race 1, Ralf Kelleners won

But retired from Race 2.

i just wait for the day that someone brings out an old Jaguar XJR-14. I was at silverstone when teo fabi did the first stint at teh Empire Trophy in the early nineties. his first lap in the XJR 14 was about ten seconds quicker than the 962s and the XJR 12s!

And people say Schumacher's dominance has made F1 boring

the irony was it didnt win! i think a 962 won it as the XJR 14 had reliability issues.
