Well I may have over simplified things but I meant it in terms of if the Bible says that being gay is wrong, then that's what they believe.... Much religious crap comes from Dogma invented by the church. For instance the Catholic and Protestant church is so different for what amounts to exactly the same religion.
When the romans created the bible in 60AD or so it was more of a religion anyway, rather than the facts - the Dead sea Scrolls reveal rather more of the time. Or they would have done if the catholics had not decided to edit what people could read.
