Temporary Insurance

Hi

I wondered if there were any other companies that could be recommended, I have been offered the use of a Ferrari 360 for the weekend.

The reason being is that my TVR Griffith 500 that I owned for 7 hours was driven into the back off by a taxi driver… it is all sorted in that he has admitted liability was insured etc but now just going through the slow process of getting it repaired.
Very helpfully  the garage that is doing it (Central Sportcars) happen to have some loan cars for use and one of them is the above, and he is happy for me to borrow it next weekend, the only proviso is that I need to insure it myself …

I have contacted my own insurance for the TVR who said no and gave a few very thin reasons why… So I really don’t want to miss this opportunity to drive one, and at least give my rather large and very black cloud a silver ( or red) lining while I am waiting for my car to be fixed.

So any other companies that people know of and would recommend would be really appreciated.

I borrowed it a few weeks ago - I'm insured with Aviva and they give you 5 days cover in any loan car. As a responsible individual I called them and said " I think you ought to know" and they said "and your point is?" - No problem - and it is a lot of fun!

Talk to your broker and if you can get cover for a similar amount including the loan car, then speak to your insurance company and tell them you will cancel and go elsewhere unless they cover you. It's a no lose

hi jasper is your insurance through aviva for your normal every day car or your TVR?just that my normal car is acompany car so no such luck?

you should try insure a day dot com or insure daily
