1:13.878 , using a controller and rear aero. 1:12 should be possible.

Can you add aero to Arcade mode cars? I thought the idea of running in Arcade was to give a standard car with no possibility of tweaking?

Im not enjoying driving the MP4/12C in standard trim so Im not sure how much time I'll put into this one over the week, but I predict a 1.09.xx for the top boys.

Also to confirm above, you can't tweak aero or anything else if you're in arcade mode time trial using the MP4/12 from the "Arcade Only" section, the only thing you can set up is the driving options for traction control and tyre choice etc, so if you can get into the car settings menu at all, you're picking your own car from your garage by mistake.

Oops I was using my own car (Completely Standard) in practice mode.

Won't have much time this week - probably get an hour or so tonight but that will be it frown

I'll try and get a 'pad' time up near the top!

This is another track where I tend to naff it up at the first corner smile

I prefer the arcade mode though, means I don't have to naff about with the suspension settings etc...

The one that gets me most is the corner at the end of the back straight, need to take kerbs to be quick but so many times I either run a bit wide on the exit or even worse clip the inside barrier on the apex which then catapults you into the outside barrier, about 3 times last night was up on my time until that point then screwed it up. The hairpin at the start of the back straight is also tricky, seems to be a lottery on braking distances for some reason, i always brake within a few metres each time but sometimes stop short and sometimes sail miles wide.

Not been keeping up with this as barely had the chance to play. Had a go at Rome last night but couldn't better 1:13 odd although not a circuit I'm familiar with. Some very impressive times here - those cobble stones are slippery!! Will hopefully get some time tomorrow night but don't see where those 3 seconds are going to come from.

What wheel did you decide to go for Jon?? Definately improves the realism if not the times.

P.S. Hope there's a Nürburgring round in the pipe-line!! wink

Probably stating the obvious but make sure you change your tyres to sport softs as the defaults are sports hards on the arcade car. hehe

I bought a DFGT, then got lent a Thurstmaster t500 rs.

I won't be using my DFGT again.

I found nearly 3 seconds by driving slower. Very easy to over drive on this track. Key corners are the first long right hander, and of course the fast right at the bottom of the hill.
