Hi everyone,

Me and 2 other mates are doing the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Friday after finally getting our hands on a Logitech Thrustmaster wheel. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if so how they found it? Any hints or tips would be great. Were thinking of doing 2 hour stints each.

+1 its on the way in the next update apparently, that's what im waiting for anyway!

Would be good fun to do it straight out with a mate though!

Network team endurance events, sounds like the makings of an epic addtion to a later update doesnt it! If teams of 3 or 4 could run as a team at Le Mans etc without having to be in the same room, perhaps using special online endurance rooms where you could sit in the lobby and automatically be put into the driving seat when your team mate came into the pits at the end of a stint.

Why the 2 wheels?hehe

Is it the T/master or a logitech - cant have both in one wheel

Depends on the car you use, could use x2010 and walk it or use one of the diesels - they dont seem as quick as say a Bentley but will fuel economy that will be better.

Oops, of course I meant Driving Force GT wheel. We used the X2010 in the end but downtuned it to 880 BHP. We won by 120 laps which was enough.

Fair play for taking on such a challenge but wouldnt it have been a lot more exciting and given a greater sense of achievement to have been battling with AI cars of similar speed throughout the race rather than lapping the field every 15 minutes?

Yes that would have been great. We were supposed to be using a 908 but after seeing our less experienced friend spin several times in a single lap we decided it was easier for him in the X2010. Didn't want to get 14 hours in and have our hard work undone. Was still lots of fun though thumbup.
