right..

am posting this as a pistonheader rather than as an employee so dont sue me or my school if i say something i shouldnt...

Am looking for a new ICT technician / network support person to start summertime. I am ICT manager for an all girls private boarding school(!) near tunbridge wells and before u start thinking a school what do they do with ict bear in mind that its changed quite a bit recently.

we have a w2k network of about 230 computers and are looking at the latest technolgies from wireless to video streaming etc. There's a wide variety of work from filtering systems to more software you can shake a stick at + intranets, extranets etc etc.

I currently have one assistant who is going part time from sept so am looking for someone preferably with a bit of microsoft experience but things like ability to problem solve are more important. Its an excellent opportunity for someone who is just started in ict to get a lot of experience in what has to be one of the best working environments ever.

basically we're in the countryside yet 1/2 hour on the train to london with full use of the schools facilities like tennis courts and indoor swimming pool.

have a look on www.kent-college.co.uk

obviousely being a girls school u have to pass v strict police checks etc so no pervs please

its open to males or females and the official advert will be posted somewhere more important soon I just thought i'd see if there's anyone who would natter about cars all day who wanted the job!

salary is still to be decided but could be anywhere bet 16 - 24k at a guess depending on experience and the bursars mood. preferably looking at someone who is relatively local at the mo as housing round here is not cheap but thats up to u?

ps its full time with 25 weeks hol unfortunately we dont get teachers holidays!
