the handbook says F22 R24 but that was with the old S02's which had IIRC quite a firm sidewall. Most of the favoured tyres for the chim now have a softer sidewall. I have Dunlop SP9000's front and Falken FK452's rear and run F24 R26. Lower than this and things get a bit squidgy (ok ok, its not a tech term but thats how it feels) . Higher than this and things get slippery, like driving on ice.
At the pressure you are running on the rear I'm surprised you dont find yourself doing a 180 on every roundabout.

Handbook says for Bridgestone S02 (standard fitted tyres)
Front - 22psi
Rear - 24psi
Remember as the car only weighs over a 1000 kilos you don't need to have 30+ psi tyre pressures for normal road use.
This is what I use, got Dunlops on the front and don't enjoy them, some terrible understeer, I find at 22psi there is just enough to help the turn in.Front - 22psi
Rear - 24psi

Back in 98 a tyre dealer replaced the tyres on my chim 450. A famous place near Winchester. Car felt floaty and horrid especially at high speed. So on way back I checked the pressures. They were 30ish all round and the car felt dangerous. Yours must be almost undriveable...!?
Wasn't just me then, although I think mine were a little more than that. What springs/dampers you're running and their condition could also influence the ride quality. I suggest having set 24 psi as a base you now start tinkering by adjusting them by 1 or 2 psi to get to where you're very satisfied with the handling. Even a small adjustment can make a difference
