fault finder plug

Can any of you gurus point me in the direction of the OBD 5 pin plug on my S2 so I can plug my fault finder in. I experienced a missfire the other day, hasn't happened again but want to check it out before heading to the Chedder meet next weekend. Thanks.

This is the plug from a S3 but its the same on an S2, the Brown/Green (NG) is connected to pin 17, Blue/Green (UG) to pin 48, and Brown (N) to Earth and pin 60/40 all on EECIV Electronic Control Unit and ita all hidden above the carpet in passenger footwell. This will descend in a complte rats nest and the technical method of replacing is to ........ stuff it all back up!!!!

Thanks guys thats very helpful. I wasnt sure if it was in the engine bay or in the rats nest, it frightens the life out of me every time I look in there, everything seems lose and flying about.
