civilization 5 problem

hey

i have a problem with civ 5, i havent played it in a while but its all installed on my laptop, i tried to play it recently and it will only let me install it or buy it from steam and open up the steam page, ive already bought it from GAME so im not going to pay out another £30, so what should i do as its not working?

edit: ive tried to install it but the product key inst working as ive used it once and it looks like the only way of me being able to play it is to buy it again on steam even though its never done this before.

I know this may seem like a silly question, but are you sure you are logging into the Steam account that has Civ5 registered?

(We have three different accounts in our house, to play Left 4 dead...)
