I have done previously. Those and the Lozenges helped me quit, will power did the rest.

I still have the odd one when I drink, but it's not because I have to, just something I enjoy if there's no cigars available smile

Using replacement products means you are still addicted to nicotine and IMO more likely to slip up. I quit at the start of January, cold turkey and the first few days were a nightmare. After that it was less of a problem, I did slip up on the drink one night but thats been it.

Check out the quit smoking for new year thread in this section, plenty of people singing the praises of the Allen Carr book for helping them stop. It's got to be worth a try for a fiver!
