The British GT at Silverstone this weekend is part of the 'LG Super Racing Weekend' - as a result, coverage will be on Eurosport at 18:30 & 22:00 Saturday & 14:15 & 18:00 Sunday. There are lots of other interesting looking automobilia in the other events on these days which will no doubt get coverage too..

Saves waiting months to see it on Sky Sports..

Sorry Greg..

Greg. I'll tape it for you, mate!

Mind you...it'd be quicker just to nip down the road and have a look for you, wouldn't it?

It would Don, yes, but we've got my gran up for the weekend. Can't see her being interested in going to Silverstone myself. I've never asked her though, so I'm speculating !
Tape it if you remember, but if not then don't worry. But thanks for the offer.

You enjoy it while you can mate - NTL & TeleWest will be following ITV Digital into the broadcasters graveyard in the next couple of years..

Oh, piss off.

Well, you enjoy it then. I'll be watching re-runs of Dad's Army, probably.

Telewest possibly.

NTL have had a spanking idea of a debt for equity swap, meaning all the poor little investors who now hold NTL worth peanuts will have the same holding, but now worth fractions of peanuts.
So they have less debt, and a shedload of worthless shares, and blind optimism. You've got to hand it to them

Lets face it, if you bought shares in NTL you're a muppet. If you've ever had to deal with them, you'll know what an incompetant bunch of F*ckwits they are - bound to fail. Even with Microsoft backing IIRC?

Didn't they buy the entire Clueless & Witless domestic customer base & infrastructure?

Well, I used to deal with C&W and the adopted name above is eminently befitting, so it's hardly surprising to find that they sold NTL a big sack of poo...

Your all a bunch of Gloating

Have some sympathy for those without Sky Digital (although soon to get Sky Digital)

But then there are some who thought Digital Terrestrial would be a good idea! Greg?!

Guilty as well! Only you can't get it where I live -- out in the sticks? Only six miles from Brighton...

Well, I did. But I had no choice, really. Satellite is now an option (it would appear) so hopefully I'll be a Murdoch pocket liner before too long. Plus, the Boss has given me the greem light, she misses The Simp, sorry all the news programmes as much as me

Like Sky are any better?! Try 'phoning their 'help' lines.

Picture the scene, I'm sat at the kitchen table, trawling thro' some paperwork, when the moronic Sky engineer (who's installing the socket in the lounge) comes to ask where the gas stopcock is. Gave up trying to sort the claim out because of the mind bending complexity of dealing with them.

Still, I'm trying to feel better about the whole thing by maximising my 'freeviewing' on the 900 channels!

Couldn't agree more Digga!

Back in August I was at my dads, he was having another Sky Digibox plumbed into his Bedroom. We were sorting out the Two Volvo's for a wedding the next day! Sunny Friday afternoon, not a cloud in the sky, I'm polishing the Saloon with one of those Electric Buffers and my dad in under the Estate changing the oil. My little Brothers and sister were in the bath, (they'd been swimming and stank) my older sister was doing something on the computer and my step mum was trying to cook dinner!
Suddenly there was a very very loud BANG! and everything went quiet! Not a sound to be heard other than the neighbours running into the street to see what the noise was! The Sky Digi Engineer, like the Tw*t that he was, had only drilled through a ring main, sending everything to earth and blowing every single fuse in the house! And I mean EVERY fuse, Cooker, Washing Machine, TV's, the computer fried, had to buy and new one, even the electric polisher! My dad is still trying to get all the money back off them!! He's very happy with the years free sky subscription though
