Bluetooth headsets for mobiles.
Discussion
OK so I have the company car with the pukka wired kit no problems, but as I work mostly from home the wife takes it to work. That leaves me time to go out and play in the TVR from time to time but I still need to be in contact with folks.
I think a bluetooth headset would be the answer as wifey could use it with her phone too on days she uses one of the other cars.
My question is this. Are they all a much of a muchness, are there any I should avoid or will the cheapest I can find be good enough?
I'm tempted to go round the corner to Novatech and pick one up or is there somewhere else I should try first?
TIA.

personal taste and what feels comfortable plays a big part.
I have, and like, the one that looks like an upside down G that fits around behind the ear, left or right, and has a bit that goes right inside your ear. Think it is called a Jabra.
I tried others but either they weren't secure enough and fell off if i moved my head too quickly or they whistled all the time and were distracting while driving. The jabra is secure and seems to go into standby and wake up when a call comes in or you touch a button on the phone. And it lasts a week between charges with about 1 1/2 hours use a day

I have a SonyE HBH-65
its excellent for clarity, cuts down the windnoise well, and as an added bonus, its small, with decent enough battery life, and has the standard SE charger connector. so no lugging round 2 chargers.
I tend to use it whilst working / typing,
so i can chat to clients whilst typing with 2hands/working on Server Kit. Alot nicer.

From personal experience get one that is the same make as your phone... this ensure all the features work and generally makes pairing the devices nice and easy.
Could try www.expansys.com - nice selection, but not always the cheapest...

I have one as well. Got it from eBay. £55 including shipping. No problem.
I find it uncomfortable after wearing it for over an hour must have funny shaped ears and people really struggle to hear me when I am on the motorway (wind/road/exhaust noise).

I've got the Jabra one too.
Very comfortable, but feels a little wierd at first as you stick the rubbery gel thing into your ear.
I think it is very discreet and stylish, but my wife says I look like a geeky tw@t when I wear it, so I wouldn't trust my opinion.

Me too. Bought one on Ebay from 123-mobiles. Took only 5 days to arrive from Hong Kong and no tax to pay.
