JML Magic Eraser - How to use?

Hi All

I got a job lot of these, on the strength of experiences here, and will be using them tonight/tomorrow. It doesn't actually say anywhere on the box how you actually use it though. Just get it wet, wipe until grubby, rinse and repeat?

Any tips?

That's about the gist of it!
I bought a couple and did the leather in my Griff and they really are magic!!
Don't know what's on/in them but they work.

That method is spot on. Just make sure you use a decent conditioner once you finished cleaning.

Please be very careful, these are VERY ABRASIVE thats how they work, presonally i would think twice about using them. I have used them once on mine, great results but wouldnt do it agin after the state of my hands afterwards and the fact that you are not only removing dirt but Leather too!!!!!!

It is a fine abrasive but so long as the leather isnt damaged and you keep using plenty of water it is a great piece of kit, and after doing it once the leather is easy to keep clean using liquid leather cleaner and conditioner...which also smells fantastic (ok....i know that sounds plain wierd )

+1 - it works because it is abrasive. If you are looking for a quick result and less worried about the long term impact on your leather seats then go for it.

Thanks for all the responses. I used the eraser this morning and was pretty impressed. Some observations though:

1) It IS abrasive, you can feel it when rubbing harder on stubborn stains
2) It did disintegrate quite quickly
3) Whist it does lift ground in dirt it doesn't soak it up very well, eg you need to then wipe over after you've used the block to 'pick up' the dirt.
4) Don't expect miracles, my seats are crazed and cracked in places...and they are still crazed and cracked. Although the crazes and cracks are now a bit cleaner

Got one of these today, very pleased with the results, but will need some more to do whole interior.
