UK Optics- anybody used them?

Has anybody used this company? They have what is a very cheap example of a lens I'd quite like to have in the collection.

The phone number works and they knew what they were talking about, but there are no reviews online for them. It all sounds ok, but I'm always suspect of something that's too cheap!!

I suppose you could order using a credit card, and if they do a runner overnight, you can get your money back from the CC company.

I've used them, purchased a pair of binoculars for my mum's birthday. Probably not as high value as a lens but close to three figures

Don't remember anything being out of place, order went through swiftly and delivery was timely, would definitely order again if they had stuff at the right price...

They look pretty expensive to me! £1429 for a 100-400, and nearly £700 for a 17-40 f4, maybe they're cheaper on some of the lenses of which im not familiar with the prices.

This was £149 yesterday. Had a play with one at Focus on Imagining and was impressed with the results.

Yep, no AF and Exposure is also manual. They are well made, the pro 'tog I was with was impressed with the build quality. They were selling them for £205 at the show.

For that sort of money though I would rather get a used Canon 85mm 1.8f for about £250ish

Bugger!! Forgot all about that and could have gone on Monday!
