Looking at some of the more reputable tuners especially one that sounds like the cr*p sofa makers. They are stating remap results of 387hp over the standard 367.
Does anyone have any experience of remapping the 5.5 N/A engine as this is also fitted in the CLK 55 AMG. Cant believe that they can find another 20hp and more torque?

If I was going to do my 5.0 I'd use DMS as they have a good rep. They do charge a lot - but a fair amount of that surely goes on advertising - they're always in Evo, etc.
I called them up and for mine it was another 20 or so ponies, same for lb/ft and a "very noticeable, much crisper throttle response".
Which sounds do-able.
I just decided save the £500 and spend it on maintenance, tyres, etc.
