Chips Away Any Good?

Just had Chips Away out to quote on some minor scuffs and scratches on my Tuscan - anyone had any experience of using them???

had them twice out to my works car, first the colour match was terrible and second time they seemed to spray over the flies on the front bumber.

So in a word no, wouldnt have them paint my gates

just my opinion obviously but ask yourself why body shops have nice still, clean areas to spray, with no draughts and usually an oven to bake the paint and whether you can really do the same quality job out in the (usually) win and rain under a pop up shelter with a hot air gun. I have seen some work which some of these guys have done and looked ok but I wouldn't touch them personally.

It all depends on the operator/franchisee. I've had one absolutely superb and one totally cr^p.

^^ The local franchise was very good at wheel refurbs at least, but they're no longer there.
